Office Hours

As I mentioned the Office Hours music is meant to sound like the Masterpiece Theater opening music which is actually a 17th century piece by Jean-Joseph Mouret called "Rondeau." At the time I was in my 3rd year of my music degree and had access to physical resources for this kind of fanfare readily available. That's not to say I've lost the ability to write counterpoint, but it was certainly helpful to have sheet music in hand.

I sent Adam a rough idea written on piano only just to get the idea which he liked so I moved on to orchestration with pipe organ, trumpet and strings!

Mixing tended to be more difficult just because of being unfamiliar with the instruments, but it all worked out in the end!

In the end it was a 30 second intro piece that Adam uses the last part of in his youtube VOD's of Office Hours and the audio only podcast.
